BEASLEY, Frank - (from Mt. Pleasant) Frank Beasley, who died at the home of his mother near Hiwasse Feb. 15, was one of the progressive young men of Hiwasse, being a teacher for several years. He had been in poor health for about a year but was thought to be improving. A cold contracted brought on a relapse of his old trouble and death soon followed. The I.O.O.F. conducted the funeral services. The many friends extend sympathy to the bereaved family.- J.W.E.

Frank Beasley, brother of our deputy clerk, Sam Beasley, died at his home in Hiwasse on last Thursday. The cause of his death was pneumonia. Frank was a young man well liked and respected by all and his death was a very great shock to his family and friends.
