Sid B. Webb, aged 84, died at his home near Locust Bayou Tuesday afternoon. He was born at Camden, Arkansas on November 16, 1874 the son of Zachariah Lee and Jo Anna Burke Webb. He had been living in Calhoun County for the past 74 years and was a farmer during most of his working life. He is survived by a nephew, Carlton Webb of Camden; two nieces, Mrs. I. L. Parker of Locust Bayou, and Mrs. Ed Johnston of Camden; and by his siter-in-law, Mrs. Lela Webb of Locust Bayou. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Proctors Chapel conducted by Rev. Marshall Cook of Hampton. Burial will be in the Lakeside Cemetery by Proctor Funeral Home. Casket bearers will be: Jack McAnulty, Ed Johnston, I. L. Parker, Edgar Winters, Quinton Proffitt and Reese Proffitt. The body was taken to the home of Mrs. I. L. Parker near Locust Bayou Wednesday morning to remain until service time.
