Funeral services for Franklin Sweaza, 73 who died Friday in Richmond, California, will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Proctor's Chapel. Mr. Sweaza is survived by his wife, Mrs. Effie McConnell Sweaza; four daughters, Mrs. Eric Lucas of Sacramento, Calif, Mrs. Marie Jones of Crockett, Calif., Mrs. Ava Ratchel Alexandria, La. and Betty Sweaza of California; four sons, Durwood of Richmond, Calif; Dillard of Martin, Calif.; Rex and Willie Sweaza of Columbia, Mo.; one half sister; seventeen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery with Proctor Funeral Home in charge. (Camden News - APril 30, 1968)
