Ann Martha Clingman was born probably at or near Columbia, South Carolina on 25 December 1810 according to her gravestone, or 10 December 1810 according to a bible record. Her parents were Michael Clingman and his wife, perhaps a Miss Kizzie (various spellings). She died on 19 September 1884. See the caption with her husband’s stone for cemetery information. Her stone is decorated with an open Bible, and inscribed, “Ann M Clingman Consort of Dr A B Clingman born Dec 25, 1810 died Sept 19, 1884”
