Herman A. Jordan, 78 of Camden Route Two died in a local hospital Wednesday night. He was a member of the Methodist Church, and the Woodmen of the World. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Edith Rood Jordan of Camden. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Proctor Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Mr. Jordan owned and operated a bakery here for several years in the building where the Cameo Beauty Shop is today. Later he operated a hamburger and lunch stand in rear of the old Citizens Bank on South Adams just north of the Malco theatre today. The Snappy Service Lunch Stand is today.
