November 12, 1904 - March 15, 1974
Mrs. Nellie Harrison Furr, 69, of Hampton died Friday in a Houston, Tex., hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Furr will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Proctors Chapel. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery by Proctor Funeral Home. Mrs. Furr was the widow of Emmett Furr and a member of the Church of Christ. She was a life-long resident of Calhoun County. She is survived by her daughter, Miss Shirley Furr, Houston; and two brothers, Lionel Harrison, Locust Bayou and Leonard Harrison, Greenville, Tex. (Camden News - March 18, 1974)
