Ernest Alba Lambie son of Garfield Eugene Lambie and Rachel (Watkins) Lambie. Bonnie Christine (Statler) daughter of George Fox Statler and Sarah "Sallie" J (Caraway) Statler.

BONO -- Bonnie Lambie, 84, of Bono died Sunday, Dec. 21, at Lawrence Hall Nursing Home in Walnut Ridge.

Born in Egypt, she was a member of the Women's Army Corps during World War II, was a retired secretary for Westside School District and a member of Egypt Church of Christ.

Survivors include three daughters, Rachel Pratt of Houston, Texas, Rebecca Hensley of Jonesboro and Susie Pfeifer of Bono; a stepson, Darryl Lambie of Kingwood, Texas; two sisters, Ginger Glover of Conway and Geneva Statler of Fort Wayne, Ind.; two brothers, Jim Statler of McGehee and John Statler of Hoxie; 10 grandchildren, Michelle Schooley, Nicholas LeVier, Brody Davis, Logan Davis, Joshua Pfeifer, Cory Pfeifer, Robin Pfeifer, Brandon Lambie, Kristin Tankersley and Elizabeth Sullivan; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Lambie; a stepson, Mike Lambie; two sisters; and four brothers.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Markham Cemetery at Egypt, with G.W. Allison officiating. Langford's Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.

Active pallbearers will be Brody Davis, Joshua Pfeifer, Robin Pfeifer, Logan Davis, Cory Pfeifer and Cody Hensley.

Honorary pallbearers will include Nicholas LeVier, Elizabeth Sullivan, Kristin Tankersley, Michelle Schooley, Brandon Lambie and Aubrey Fisk.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-noon Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
