Born May 25, 1930, Baxter County, Arkansas.
Died February 24, 1956, Baxter County, Arkansas,.
Wife of Eldon Hamilton.
Daughter of John and Mary Katherine "Kappie" Wilson Curry Taylor Wood.
Annie Mae Hamilton was a passanger in a car driven by her brother-in-law, L. D. Perry. They were headed south on Highway 101 north of Lake Norfork. As they approached the 101 ferry, the brakes on the vehicle failed, and the car plunged off the 101 ferry dock into about 23 feet of water before the ferry arrived. Mrs. Hamilton drowned.
(The grave is marked Annie M. Wood, but her surname was Hamilton at the time of her death.)
