Born and died Apr. 4, 1936, Baxter County, Arkansas.
Daughter of Edward A. "Ed" and Nancy Dolly Standefer Taylor.
A triplet to Martha and Thelma Taylor.
(No newspaper article has been located that told of the birth of the Taylor triplet daughters, nor has an obituary been located for Velma Taylor. This story and obituary was constructed from information supplied by Marth Taylor Teegarden and Emmit Dolan Acklin.)
TRIPLETS BORN AT HOPEWELL--TWO SURVIVE
Triplet daughters were born to Nancy Dolly Standefer Taylor and Edward A. Taylor of the Hopewell community east of Norfork on Saturday, April 4, 1936.
One of the daughters, Velma, died shortly after birth; but the other two Martha Alma and Thelma Lee, were reported to be doing well.
Burial for Velma Taylor was at the Galatia Cemetery near Norfork. In addition to her parents and the two young sisters, she is survived by a half sister and half brother-Dixie and Bill Hendrix-of the home.
