January 22, 1878-March 15, 1915
Married James S. Taylor on January 21, 1896.
The Baxter Bulletin
April 16, 1915
Permelia Taylor (nee Hodges) was born Jan 25, 1878. Died March 15, 1915, age 37 years, one month and 21 days. Sister Taylor was married to James S. Taylor Jan 21, 1896. To this union was born three children, who with husband and a number of friends are left to mourn her death. Sister Taylor was a member of the Methodist Church at Norfork, AR. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and faithful Chrisian. My friends, weep not for her as those who have no hope, you cannot call her back, but you can go to her; she is done with the cares of an unfriedly world, done with its disappointments and with its suffering; she has gone where there is no more death, sorrow, care or troubles, for God shall wipe all tears from her eyes.
May God's richest blessings rest upon the husband and children in their sorrow, and help them to so live in life that in the world to come, they will be an unbroken family where they will enjoy the blessings of heaven forever.
