Mrs. Minnie Jane Pruitt, 73, of Mt. Home died Sunday, August 8, at Kansas City, MO, where she was visiting her daughter, Mrs. Harvey McGowan.
Funeral services were scheduled fo 10AM Wednesday at the New Galatia Church, east of Norfork, with Bro. Dannie Hathaway officiating. Interment was in the Galatia Cemetery under the direction of the McClure Service.
Mrs. Pruitt resided with her son, Amon Pruitt, at 404 South St., Mt. Home. A lifetime resident of Baxter and Izard Counties, she was born Nov 14, 1892, the daughter of the late Mathew and Lizzie Arnold. She moved to Mt. Home 14 years ago.
Surviving her are two sons, Amon of Mt. Home and Henry of Old Joe; two daughters, Mrs. James Haire of Omaha, NE and Mrs. Harvey McGowan of Kansas City; 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
