Funeral services were conducted last Friday at the Galatia Methodist Church, near Norfork, for Mrs. Arminta Evelyn Moon, 87, of Beatrice, NE, a former resident of Baxter County, who died at a Beatrice hospital on Nov 30.
Interment was in the Galatia Cemetery, under the direction of the McClure Service.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Bernice Wylie and Mrs. Grace Helmlinger of Beatrice, Mrs. Clara Russell of Hudsonville, MI and Mrs. Edith Hatcher of Marysville, KS; a son Ewing Moon of Beatrice; two brothers, James W. Greer of Norfork and Robert M. Greer of Strawberry; a sister, Mrs. Siddie Norwood of Auburn, CA; 18 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
The daughter of Tomas William Greer and Lidia Greer, Mrs Moon was born at Big Flat on March 28, 1882.
