Died March 8, 1883, Baxter County, Arkansas.
Married Robert Waid Lackey around 1836.

Nancy B. Lackey died at her home in the Galatia community on Thursday, March 8, 1883. Nancy Welch was born in South Carolina around July 1, 1917. She married Robert Waid Lackey around 1836.
She moved to the Galatia area of what was then Izard County with one of the ox drawn wagon trains in the early 1850's and lived there until her death.
She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Chruch, South.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, W. Gary, James W. and Dr. William H.H. Lackey of Izard County; and three daughters, Nancy Yearry of Izard County, Ellender 'Allie' Lackey, Frances 'Fanny' Lackey and Mary Jane Lackey of the home.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Andrew and John Lackey; and two daughters, Louisa Lackey and Sarah Lackey.
Burial was in the Galatia Cemetery.
