Son of Raymond Bishop Foster and Viola Standefer Foster.

This hand crafted tombstone marked the grave for many years, and then it was replaced with a manufactured one. This one now serves as a footstone.

J.L. Foster, young son of Raymond Bishop and Viola Standerfer Foster died Wednesday, November 22, 1933, at the family home at Old Joe, Arkansas. J.L. was just one day shy of his fifth birthday. He was born at old Joe on November 23, 1928.
He is survived by his parents and sister, Wanda, all of the home; and grandfather, Alonzo Foster of Calico Rock.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Mattie Foster, Rosie Standefer and James Henry Standefer; and by two sisters, Esta Lee and Nina Ray Foster.
Burial was in the Galatia Cemetery.
