Died Baxter County, Arkansas.
Son of John Brook Clark and Elizabeth Pennington Clark.
Married Susan Catherine Elizabeth "Kate" Burgess on February 6, 1866, in Johnsonville, Wayne County, Illinois.

He served as Postmaster at Wolf, Baxter County, Arkansas, until that post office was discontinued. He then served as the Postmaster at Hopewell, Baxter County, Arkansas, until he retired.

Rev. Jett was called to Norfork Tuesday to conduct the funeral of A.M. Clark, 81, who died Sunday and was buried at Galatia. Mr. Clark was the father of 14 children...seven now living and had 50 grandchildren and 27 great grandchilden. Mrs. Clark died ten years ago.
