Married (2) Mrs. Rena Ninette Parnell Blank Davis on March 24, 1950, at Columbus, Cherokee County, Kansas.
Married (3) Mrs. Virgle Mae "Vicky" Lawson Harris Muse Coyle on February 24, 1995, at Mountain Home, Baxter County, Arkansas.

Coy Jack "Jimmie" Barnes had a fatal heart attack while visiting the graves of his last two wives in the Galatia Cemetery.

Services for Coy J. "Jimmie" Barnes will be at 10AM Wednesday at Roller Chapel with Brother James Ramsey officiating. Mr. Barnes died Sunday (June 6, 1999) at Baxter Coounty Regional Hospital. He was 77.
Mr. Barnes was born Aug. 15, 1921, at Norfork and he was married to Virgle Lawson Barnes. He was a retired fork lift operator in the steel industry and served in the US Army in World War II.
He is survived by one son, Jerry Barnes of Independence, MO; one step son, Joe Harris of Missouri; two step daughters, Carol Baker of Savannah, MO and Betty Estes of Mt. Home; two brothers, Glen Friend of Jordan, and Devoe Friend of Kodiak, AK; two sisters, Joyce Curtis of Oakland, and Doyle Mangold of Suman, WA; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, his first wife, Rena and his second wife Virgle.
Visitation will be from 9AM to 9PM today at Roller Funeral Home. The family will receive guests from 6PM to 8PM. Burial will be at Galatia Cemetery. Pallbearers include Les Burgen, Robert Skidmore, Darrell Gibson, Mike Baker, Kenneth Lawson and Robert Lawson. Honorary pall bearers include Jeff Scheidegger and Shawn Lance.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Long Association.
