Walter Marvin Arnold, 87, of Norfork died Tuesday at Mt. Home. He was a lifetime resident of this area.
Funeral services for Arnold will be at 2PM tomorrow (Friday) at the Old Galatia Church with the Rev. F.M. Baughman officiating. Burial will be in the Galatia Cemetery under the direction of the Roller Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9AM until 9PM today at Roller Funeral Home.
Arnold was born Dec 5, 1891, at Iuka, the son of Mr. and Mrs Jim Arnold. He was retired from the Corps of Engineers and was a veteran of World War I. He was a Protestant.
Survivors include an son, Hayes Arnold of Blue Springs, MO; a step daughter, Maizie Cooper of Norfork; a son-in-law, Corley Langston of Springfield, MO; five grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
