Daughter of Raymond Bishop Foster and Viola Standefer Foster.
Wife of Griffie Acklin.
(No obituary has been located for Wanda Foster Acklin. This obituary was constructed from information furnished by Glenda Foster Parnell Melton and from material collected by Max Parnell.)
Wanda Foster Acklin died in 1946 from turberculosis. She and Griffie Acklin had been married for only a short time. She was born in 1931 to Viola Standefer Foster and Raymond Bishop Foster.
Mrs. Acklin is survived by her husband; mother; paternal grandfather, Alonzo Foster; and three sisters, Leda, Glenda and Jackie Foster.
She was preceded in death by her father; grandparents, Mattie Foster and James Henry Standefer and Rosie Stadefer; and two sisters, Esta Lee and Nina Ray Foster.
Burial was in the Galatia Cemetery.
