Mrs. A.W. Sharp, aged 75 years, died at the home six miles west of Sulphur Springs last Friday night after a short illness. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon and burial made in the Lee cemetery near where she lived. Mrs. Sharp was the widow of the late Dr. A.W. Sharp and had long been a resident of the Check's Corner community. Two daughters and three sons survive her.
