LANDERS, Eliza Jane VANSANDT - (from Pleasant Hill) Eliza Jane Vansandt was born in Barry Co., Mo. Feb. 26, 1859 and departed this life Jan. 13, 1929 at the age of 69 years, 10 months and 17 days. Was married to J.A. Landers January 2, 1917. Was converted about 50 years ago but never united with any church. She leaves behind her husband, two sisters, Mrs. Foster of Kansas and Mrs. Wm. Feazell; a nephew, Bob Vansandt of Pineville, Mo. whom she reared and several other nephews. She was laid to rest in Tuck's Chapel cemetery last Monday.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 this afternoon at Tuck's Chapel for Mrs. John Landers who died at her home in that neighborhood yesterday. Mrs. Landers' death was caused by influenza. The services were conducted by Rev. Winslow of Avoca. Funeral arrangements were in charge of J.W. Bryant.
