Husband of Audrey Smith (marr. 20 Dec 1917); son of Joseph C. and Rebecca E. Hall
The inscription states, "Died in France." From that statement, one might assume that John died while serving in a branch of the US military. In addition, if John's remains were not moved from France to Lawrence County, the gravestone is a cenotaph. If additional information becomes available, this record will be updated.
