TUCK, Susan Ann HICKS - Died March 17th, 1902, Mrs. Susan Ann Tuck, nee Hicks. She was born in Rutherford Co., Tenn. May 23d, 1825 and was converted at the age of 18 and joined the Missionary Baptist church. She moved to Benton county 54 years ago and was married the next year to Thomas Tuck. To this union were born six children, three boys and three girls, all of whom are living. In 1875 she, with her husband, united with M.E. church, South at Tuck's Chapel, from whence it derived its name. It is a half mile from her house, which was always the preacher's home. The funeral services were held by Brothers Rice and Sturdy and her remains were laid to rest in the Tuck's Chapel cemetery. Mrs. Vianna Ferrell.
