Mrs. W.H. Webster died at her home two and three quarter miles southwest of Rogers on Wednesday, June 27th at 8:50 p.m. Funeral services were held at the home Saturday, June 30th at two o'clock at the residence and were conducted by Rev. Barrett, pastor of the Baptist church of Rogers. Burial was in the Oakley Chapel cemetery.
Kathleen Jenkins was born in Franklin County, Ky. March 12, 1853; was united in marriage to W.H. Webster Dec. 22, 1872. They were then living in Owen county, Ky.; from there they moved to Kansas; in 1888 they moved to Arkansas where they had since made their home. To this union were born eight children - six of whom are living. Besides her husband she is survived by six children - Mrs. Lucy Volk, Mrs. Rena Johnson, Mrs. Florence Phillips, Mrs. Della Ingersoll and J.D. Webster of Siloam Springs; Mrs. Effa Baker of Joplin, Mo. Also eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In her young days she united with the Baptist church, her membership at the time of her death being in the Baptist church of Rogers.
