Darrell Dempsey Fisher, 88, of Rossville, Tennessee, formerly of Lawrence County, passed away Friday, March 17, 2017
Born on September 29, 1928 to Earl and Ruby Archer Fisher. He was a truck driver, a member of the Westside Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida, and was a Marine WWII veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Chestine Fisher; and two brothers, Harold and W.E. Fisher.
Survivors include two sons, Dempsey Fisher of Germantown, and Michael Fisher of Collierville; a daughter, Linda Shepherd of Rossville; two brothers, Freddie Fisher of Newport and Bobby Fisher of Smithville; thirteen grandchildren; thirty-one great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Dr. Rick Shepherd will be officiating. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
