BLOOD INFECTION CAUSED DEATH OF YOUNG WOMAN
Miss Mary Maberry, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Maberry died at the family home in the Droke community, shortly after midnight Sunday morning from an infected blood stream caused by a blister worn by a shoe on her foot. She was ill about a week.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Oakley Chapel Church, the Rev. R.S. Hayden, of the M.E. Church, South in Bentonville in charge, assisted by Rev. Irl Bridenthal.
Pall bearers were Walter Jefferson, Fred Pearce, jack Mays, Carl and Harold Banks.
Flower girls were among her dearest friends and included, Miss Nell Banks, Mrs. Neely, Mrs. Marlin Lyon, Mrs. Jack Mays, Mrs. Norwood Leib, Mrs. Jack Yeagle, Mrs. Katie Shrader, Mrs. Hobert Dodson, Mrs. Glen Daniels.
Miss Maberry was born at the family home May 20, 1903. She had lived in this community all her life, and for some time had been employed by the F.H. Banks Produce Company.
Besides her parents, she is survived by two brothers, Charles and Carl Maberry and Miss Esther Maberry of the home.
