HEVERLY, Marie - Miss Marie Heverly, the thirteen year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Heverly, died Monday morning at the home of the parents three miles due west of Rogers on Walnut street, after a lingering illness of several months. Funeral services were held at Oakley's Chapel yesterday afternoon and were conducted by Rev. Davidson, presiding elder of the M.E. church, South who had been holding meetings there. Miss Heverly's death is a great sorrow to the family and her many friends and school mates in Rogers. She was a member of the freshman class in the Rogers high school, which she lead in scholarship for several months and was in many ways an unusually bright and companionable young girl. The bereaved family has the deepest sympathy of the entire community in their affliction.
