FOLLETTE, Martin A. - M.A. Follett(sic), father of Charles Follett, well known Valley View farmer, died at his home in Rogers early yesterday morning at the age of 65 years. He had been ill for some time and death followed two strokes of paralysis. Mr. Follett came to Rogers about 15 years ago. Besides his widow, Mrs. Alpha Follett, he is survived by two sons, Charles Follett of Bentonville and James Follett of Rogers; also by two daughters, Mrs. James Seaman of Rogers and Mrs. George Heaps of Wichita, Kans.

Funeral services for Martin A. Follette, 65, who died at his home on East Poplar street Wednesday following an illness of several months, were held Thursday afternoon at the Spring street mission with the Rev. C.B. Huff officiating. Burial was in Oakley's cemetery in charge of J.W. Bryant. Mr. Follette was married February 10, 1887 to Alta Jane Crawford and to this union eight children were born, four of whom preceded their father in death. Mr. Follette is survived by his widow, two daughters, Mrs. Mary Seaman of Rogers and Mrs. Anna Heaps of Wichita, Kan.; two sons, Charlie Follette of Bentonville and James B. Follette of Rogers, and 13 grandchildren.
