Son of Ferguson Dwelle and Ella Josephine Black Dwelle.
Married Mrs. Willie Ernestine Arnold Black in 1930.

Edward C. Dwelle, 89, a retired resident of the Old Joe community near Norfork, died Monday at a Calico Rock hospital following a short illness.
He had resided in Baxter County for 37 years, He was a veteran of the Spanish-American War and was a Presbyterian.
Funeral services were to be conducted at 2PM yesterday (Wednesday) at the Galatia Methodist Church, east of Norfork, with Rev. Charles Faith, minister of the Calco Rock Prsbyterian Church, officiating. Interment was in the Galatia Cemetery, under the direction of the McCallum Funeral Service of Calico Rock. Military rites were conducted at graveside.
Mr. Dwell was born at Kansas City, MO, on October 17, 1877, the son of Ferguson Dwell and Ella Josephine Black Dwelle. His parents were natives of New York and Missouri, respectively.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Willie E. Dwell, of the home; five dauthers, Mrs. Hilda Oldham of Kansas City, MO, Mrs. Sallie Malone of Old Joe, Mrs. Ruth Mayfield, also of Kansas City, Mrs. Hazel May of Calico Rock and Mrs. Anna Kemp of Dardanelle; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers, Don Dwelle and Bill Dwelle, both of Cedar Point , KS; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Dixon of San Diego, CA and Mrs. Ruth Grimwood of Cedar Point.
