Died March 28, 1947, Butler, Bates County, Missouri.
Daughter of Johnnie Howard Black and Willie Ernestine Arnold Black.

Funeral services for Miss Billie Lee Black,24, registered nurse, who died Fraday at Butler, MO, were held Sunday at the Galatia Church with the Rev W.T. Watson officiating. Burial was in Gatlatia Cemetery under the direction of the Adams Funeral Home.
Miss Black was born in Cotter in 1922. She was a graduated of the Norfork school and the Baptist hospital in Little Rock. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include her parents, Mr. amd Mrs. E.C. Dwelle and five sisters, Mrs. Hilda Oldham of Kansas City, MO, Mrs. Sallie Malone of Flint, MI, Mrs. Ruth Mayfield of Calico Rock and Mrs. Hazel Dwelle and Miss Anna Dwelle of the home.
Pallbearers wer J.D. King, W. Benbrook, Howard Woods, Glasson Mays, Treyce Mayes and Paul Magness.
