Mrs. Pauline Edna Pettit, 68, Rt. 2, Rogers, died Dec. 28 in a Bentonville nursing home. Born Aug. 15, 1909, at Coldwater, Kan., she was the daughter of Paul and Gertrude Duggan Troika, a graduate of Macksville, Kan., High School and lived most of her life in Wichita, Kan., until moving to Benton County three years ago.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Carol Hooper, Rogers, and Mrs. Betty Jones, Lowell; one brother, Rolse Troika, Redding, Pa.; four sisters, Mrs. Lura Portlock, Sacramento, Calif., Mrs. Doris Albers, Anaheim, Calif., Mrs. Eileen Baker, Lancaster, Calif., and Mrs. Gladys Bell, Wichita, Kan.; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Burns Funeral Home, Bentonville, with the Rev. J.B. Manning officiating. Burial will be in Hart's Cemetery under the direction of Burns.
