Flora E. Marshall, wife of H.C. Marshall, died at her home in Colville township, this county, on Oct. 2nd, 1896, aged 27 years. Thus the hand of death has claimed a victim. She was interred in the Hart cemetery, Rev. I.R. Hall conducting the funeral service. She, with her husband, moved and settled in their present home from Kansas and she formed a large circle of acquaintances and friends who with her husband mourn her untimely death, but with thankful hearts we can all say we do not mourn as those who have no hope. She exclaimed she was ready. So, dear Flora, while you bathe in the sunshine of glory we who are left to mourn hope to meet you in the beautiful over there. H.C. Marshall.
