Nancy Queen Rogers was born in Indian Territory to Athelston and Josie Robertson Rogers. She had a Cherokee Indian roll number, and was given a portion of the Indian teritory when it was divided into Oklahoma.

Married Jefferson Green "Jay" Arnold at Norfork, Arkansas, on March 16, 1915.

Nancy Queen Rogers Arnold, 92, of Guion, died January 25, 1990. She was a retired postmaster.
Ms. Arnold had her Cherokee Indian roll number, and was given a protion of the Indian territory when it was divided in Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jay G. Arnold; her husband, Jay Arnold; and a grandson, Sherman Black.
Survivors included; one son, Homer Rogers Arnold of El Paso, Texas; five daughters, Geneva Rodman of Leachville, Beverly Hurst of Blacksburg, Virginia Jacqueline Hunt of Melbourne, Jaydine Norton of O'Fallon, Missouri, and Varue Guthrie of Melbourne; one half brother, Patrick H. Rogers of Melbourne; 17 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren.
Services were held at Howard Chapel in Melbourne on January 27, officiated by Michael Beggs. Pallbearers were; Jay Black, Robert Guthrie, Jr., Dr. Tasker N. Rodman II, Son Lamb, Newt Blankenship, Howard Lamb and M. Morton II.
Burial was at Galatia Cemetery near Calico Rock under the direction of Howard Funeral Home.
