Bert Cecil Dunham, 80, 919 S. Arkansas, Rogers, died Sunday at Rogers Memorial Hospital. He was born Nov. 12, 1893 in Bosie City, Idaho. His family came to Rogers when he was 14 years-old. As a young man he sold newspapers on the street and for many years ran a news stand on first street. In his later years he became blind but continued to run the news stand. He was a member of the Downtown church of Christ.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Maudie Soapes, Rogers; three nephews and four nieces.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at Burns Funeral Chapel, Rogers with George R. Dickson, Minister, officiating. Burial will be in Hart's Cemetery under the direction of Burns Funeral Home, Rogers.
