JACKSONPORT -- Freida Caubble Roberts, 86, of Wynne died Tuesday, Dec. 17, at CrossRidge Community Hospital at Wynne.
Born in Jacksonport, she was a retired sales clerk for Steinberg's Dry Goods, where she worked for 37 years, and was a member of Colt Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Robert D. "Bobby" Roberts of Jonesboro and Roland G. Roberts of Wynne; a brother, Warner Caubble of Wynne; a sister, Fannie Bennett of Wynne; five grandchildren, Denita Halcom, Sherri Arender, Michelle Gregory, Wade Roberts and Jamie Frederick; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Garland D. Roberts; her parents, Columbus Hayden Caubble and Lula Mae Averille Caubble; two brothers; and a sister.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Kernodle Funeral Home at Wynne, with the Rev. Don Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Cogbill Cemetery at Wynne.
