APOLLO BEACH, Fla. — L. Lee Knapp Jr., 34, formerly of Rogers, died Jan. 10, 2009, in Apollo Beach. He was born Sept. 28, 1974, in Bellflower, Calif., to Larry Lee Knapp Sr. and Shelby Jean Powell Knapp.

He was a 1993 graduate of Rogers High School, where he lettered in cross-country and track. He was a master plumber. He and his wife owned Apex Plumbing in Bentonville before moving to Florida in 2007. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed the outdoors and racing dirt bikes.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Faith Elizabeth Knapp; his paternal grandparents, Carson Ford Knapp and Katherine Walker Johnson; and his maternal grandfather, James Wesley Powell.

Survivors include his wife, Esther Elizabeth Hailey Knapp; two sons, Cody Lee McVay and Tyler Fox Knapp, both of the home; two daughters, Ashley Renee Knapp of Bentonville and Trinity Hailey Knapp of the home; his parents, Larry Lee Knapp Sr. and Shelby Jean Powell Knapp of Rogers; his maternal grandmother, Gracie Powell of Bentonville; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Cassie Judd and Dan Judd of Rogers and Candi King and John King of Noel, Mo.; and six nieces and nephews, Jamie Chesnut, Jeremy Chesnut, Cory Judd, Emily Judd, Kyle Judd and Carson Judd.

Funeral services were held Jan. 15 at Faith Worx Church in Apollo Beach.

A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Fellowship Bible Church in Rogers in the Lodge Building.
