William Bryan Bethea age 71 of Woodberry, Calhoun County died in a Hampton hospital Sunday morning. Mr. Bethea was a retired timberman, a member of the Masonic Lodge and a member of the Woodberry Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Anna Stovall Bethea, one son, Bill Bethea of Camden, two daughters; Mrs. Polly King of Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Lola Beasley of Big Run, Penn., four brothers, Carl Bethea of Bearden, Frank Clay of Camden, Jack Clay of Locust Bayou, and Henry Clay of Warren; two sisters; Mrs. Blanche Hopkins of El Dorado and Mrs. Catherine Browning of El Dorado and seven grand children. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 2:00 p.m. at the Woodberry Bapstist Church with burial in the Salem Cemetery. Proctor's is in charge. (Camden News - January 15, 1968)
