Henrietta Irene Crider
Henrietta Irene Crider, 80, of Hoxie, died Aug. 17, 2004, at St. Bernards in Jonesboro, following a lengthy illness.
Born Sept. 12, 1923, at Black Rock, she was the daughter of C.H. (Peck) and Madge Forrester Davis. She was a former employee of Lawrence Manufacturing Company, a homemaker and a member of Coffman Free Will Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Almus Crider, on Oct. 11, 1986, whom she married Feb. 8, 1941; a son, Rudy Crider; a brother, J.R. Davis; and two great-grandchildren.
Survivors include a daughter, Loretta Brewer, Portia; two sons, Tony Crider, Smithville, and Mike Crider, Searcy; four sisters, Manon Tillman, Yvonne Ellison, Sue Hancock and Mona Hicks, all of Walnut Ridge; five brothers, Forrester Davis, W.B. Davis, Gene Davis and Dale Davis, all of Walnut Ridge, and Ronald Davis, Memphis; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral is Thursday at 2 p.m. in Bryan Chapel with Bros. Paul Bean and David Ponder officiating. Burial will be in Lawrence Memorial Park under the direction of Bryan Funeral Home.
Visitation is tonight from 6 to 8.
