Long Time Resident Of walnut Ridge, Hoxie Dies Here Tuesday Night
Mrs. Rosa Wilson, age 78, of Walnut Ridge died Tuesday night at 10:45 O'clock in a local clinic. Mrs. Wilson had suffered a heart attack last Sunday from which she never recovered. She was born in Ponder, MO., and has been a resident of Walnut Ridge and Hoxie for the past 40 years. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church,
Surviving are four sons: Virgil McClain, Walnut Ridge, Hugh Wilson of St. Louis, Mo.; Eph Wilson of Rockford, Ill., and Lee Wilson of Walnut Ridge; two daughters, Mrs. Walter Sheets of Rt. 3, WAlnut Ridge and Mrs. Roscoe Eldridge of Biggers; one sister, Mrs. J. W. Malcom of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; 22 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Midway Assembly of God Church, conducted by Rev. Lehman Rorex and assisted by Rev. Felix Thornton.
Burial will be in Lawrence Memorial Park under direction of Bryan Funeral Home.
