According to the Greene County Genealogical Society the cemetery was established in 1865.
I have family in this cemetery so I'm on a mission to get it cleaned up & visitable again. Mr. & Mrs. Charles of Paragould, Arkansas have been working on cleaning up the cemetery til the weather got too hot. They plan on starting back when it cools off. The city doesn't claim the cemetery, since it's now part of the city. There is no one doing the upkeep on it. So the Charles's have agreed to be the up keepers of it. But there is a lot to be done. The graves are falling in, trees & brush need to be cut, headstones need to be repaired and some replaced.A sign needs to be put back. The cemetery is located on Hillview Drive/Old Clark Cemetery Road/Old Rector Road.
