IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY CEMETERY RULES AND REGULATIONS.

1. Grave sites are available to Catholic and non-Catholic spouses who are registered parishioners of Immaculate Heart of Mary for at least six months and use their envelopes on a regular basis.

2. Grave sites are also available to Catholics who are registered In a specific parish, but are not members of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.

3. Grave sites are not available to the general public.

4. Family members must make arrangements to open and close graves with Mark Pruss, Inc.

5. All graves must have permanent or monuments on them provided and maintained by relatives.

6. All graves and plots must be kept level at all times.

7. No shrubs or plants of any nature are allowed on graves or plots.

8. No statues are allowed unless they are attached to permanent monuments.

9. No foot stones (except military), walls or enclosures are allowed.

10. From April 1 to November 1, no flowers or decorations will be allowed on graves or plots except as specified in items 11, 12 and 13.

11. Flowers will be allowed for a period of 10 days after a funeral and then must be removed by family members.

12. For Easter, Mother or Father's day, and special occasions, flowers will be allowed for a period of one week.

13. Artificial flowers may be left anytime on top of monuments or markers provided they are are secured in such a way that the wind will not topple or blow them around. They must also be neat in appearance.

14. Resale or transfer of grave sites is not permitted. Sites can be returned to parish at original purchase price.

15. Single grave monuments may not exceed 42 inches in length, 18 inches in width, and 8 inches above ground. Monuments on 2 graves may not exceed 60 inches in length, 18 inches in width, and 8 inches above ground. All may be smaller than these dimensions. Vases may only be placed on top of monuments and must be removable. Sod placed on graves must be level with surrounding area.

Double Grave 48" x 14"

These rules have been reviewed by the pastor and pastoral councils.
