Hollowell Trimble of Cartney was born June 7, 1888, near Advance, in this county and died in the hospital at Gassville, December 8. He died from injuries received when a mule kicked him in the abdomen about 8 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, December 8th. He was taken to Rollins Hospital. In a few hours where everything possible was done to save his life but his condition was hopeless.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rena Trimble, three sons, Major of Cotter, Howard of Malvern and Eugene of the home; four daughters, Misses Fern Maxine, Geneva and Joan, all of the home; his mother and two sisters and many other relatives.
He had lived his whole life in Baxter County and was a loving, kind and devoted husband and father.
Funeral services were conducted Friday the 9th by Rev McQuestion of Gassville, at the Burnt School House near Advance and burial was in the cemetery there, under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Cotter.
