Daughter of William Riley Beavers & Sarah Amanda "Manda" Hutson Beavers.
Born February 13, 1912, Advance, Baxter County, Arkansas.
Died March 12, 1980, Bull Shoals, Marion County, Arkansas.


Obiuary
Funeral services of Ivy Jewell Straeter of Cotter will be at 10AM today at Roller Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Troy Melton officiating. Mrs. Straeter, 70, died Sunday at Bull Shoals Community Hospital.
Burial will be in the Brunt School House Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Carl Henderson, Lloyd Henderson, Dennis Wilson, Larry Wilson, Carlyle Beavers and Joe Mike Beavers. Robert Tilley and Ralph Wilson are honorary pallbearers.
Visitation was Tuesday until 9PM at Roller Funeral Home.
Survivors include two daughters, Jorean Lively of Cotter and Willie May Fisher of Flippin; two step daughters, Rosie Plagmann of Tulsa, OK and Dougie Wilson of Kansas City, MO; one brother, Melton Beavers of Mt. Home; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Straeter, a lifetime resident of the area, was born Feb 13, at Advance. She married Connell G. Straeter April 1, 1951, at Mt Home. She was a Baptist. Mrs. Straeter was preceeded in death by her husband, her parents, William Riley Beavers and Amanda Hutson Beavers, one son, and five brothers.
