funeral ser4vices for Alexander Green Shelor, 82, of Lone Rock, who died early Friday morning at his home, were held at 10AM Sunday at the Burnt Schoolhouse with Rev Frank
Horst officiating.
Mr. Shelor, a retired farmer, had been a resident of Baxter County since 1923.
His parents were the late W.H. Shelor and Mrs. Sarah Branner Shelor of Virginia, and he was born December 15, 1874, at Meadows of Dan, VA.
His wife, the late Mrs. Mary Vaughn Shelor, preceded him in death. They were married 62 years.
Survivors include two sons, J.W. Shelor of Lone Rock and Keith Shelor of Excelsior Springs, MO; a daughter, Mrs. Ella Hurst of Kansas City, MO; 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; three brothers and four sisters.
Interment was in the Burnt Schoolhouse Cemetery. Roller Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
