Alice Mae Trimble Patterson died from burns she received around a month prior to her death when her clothing caught fire in an accident at her home.

Mrs. Alice Mae Patterson, 71, of Star Route, Norfork, died Sunday at the University Medical Center at Little Rock. Mrs. Patterson, who resided in the Lone Rock communinty in South Baxter County, succumbed to injuries she received when her clothing caught fire in an accident at her home about a month ago.
Funeral services were held at 8PM Tuesday at the Lone Rock Baptist Church with Rev. Troy Melton of Mt. Home officiating. Interment was in the Brunt Schoohouse Cemetery at Lone Rock with the McClure service in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were, Everett Wilber, Russell Rasor, Elwyn Norman, Nemo Norman, Jess Lance and Floyd Miller.
Mrs. Patterson, a lifetime resident of Baxter County, was born at Advance on Jan 15, 1895. She was the daughter of J.I. Trimble and Ada Milner Trimble, and a member of the Methodist Church.
Surviving her are a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Wood, and a sister, Mrs. Cara Cochran, both of Star Route, Norfork; and three grandchildren.
