This grave was originally marked by a very thin limestone rock that had the name Emmer Merrell scratched into the surface. The rock was broken into four pieces. The rock was glued together and put back into place, and the cemetery association also placed a new marker at the gravesite. No further information is known about Emmer Merrell.
