Ethel P. Sharp Lindsey Miller was born October 27, 1896, and passed away October 19, 2004. She was a resident of Lone Rock, Arkansas since 1940. She was a wonderful person and a real great mother, lived a good Christian life and gave to Lord all the credit. She had five son; all served in the Army and three were in World War II.
Mrs. Miller is survived by four sons; Felix P. Lindsey of Lone Rock; Ward Lindsey of Des Moines, Iowa; Eldon Lindsey of Lone Rock; Elis Lindsey of Columbia, Missouri; two daughters, Thelma Beagille of Binghamton, New York, Lois Miller of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She had several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She also was a church clerk at the Lone Rock Baptist Church and Sunday school teacher. Ethel and her husband Price Lindsey ran the post office at Lone Rock several years in the 1940's.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Austin W. and Matilda Adams Sharp, her husband Eldon Lindsey and a son George Lindsey.
We will miss her very much.
Graveside services for Mrs. Miller will be held Friday, October 22, 2:00PM at the Burnt Schoolhouse Cemetery in Lone Rock, AR, with Brother Doug Husky officiating. Pallbearers will be Dale, Edward, Jacob and Heath Lindsey, Jody Cox and Josh Dunn.
