Obituary

Colleen E. Hurst, 56, of Yellville died April 18, at University Medical Center at Little Rock. She was a lifetime area resident. She was born June 16, 1930, at Reed Springs, MO, to Pearl Jane (Bench) and Eugene White. She married Ruben Hurst June 18, 1948, at Mt. Home. She was a Southern Baptist.
Survivors are her husband of the home, four sons, Timothy of the home, Clifford of Lone Rick, James of Yellville and David of Mt. Home, two daughters, Linda Wells of Yellville and Sue Hurst of Lone Rock, four brothers Everett and Charles White of Lone Rock and Ronnie and Donald White of Mt. Home, four sisters, Evelyn and Betty Layton of Yellville, Maxine Henderson of Lone Rock and Saphrine Ellison of Billings, MO, 11 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, and her mother of Lone Rock.
Her fater, a brother, a sister and two grandchildren preceded her in death.
The funeral was Apri 20, at the Lone Rock Baptist Chruch with Rev. Troy Melton officiating. Bruial was in the Burnt Schoolhouse Cemetery.
