Clarence Hurst was killed in an automobile accident in Somerset, Kentucky.

Funeral services for Clarence Hurst, 20, of Advance, were held Thursday, April 28, at Burnt School House with the Rev Malden officiating. Mr. Hurst was killed in a truck accident April 25 at Somerset, KY. He was working for the Schutt Construction Co. at the time of his death. Survivors are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Hurst of Advance, three brothers and one sister.

The people of Advance are very sorry to hear of the death of one of our very prominent young men and one of our most industrious boys. He was Mr. Clarence Hust who was killed in an accident in Kentucky where he was working. The truck he was driving went over a very high cliff, killing him in the crash below.
