Mrs. Arvie M. Hurst, 71, died at her residence in Flippin, Wednesday of last week. She was a Protestant.
Mrs. Hurst was born Aug 4, 1906, in the Lone Rock community, the daughter of the late Lucian and Abbie Horn Chapman. She married Wayne Hurst in Mt. Home in 1966.
Survivors include her husband of the home; one son, Guy Chapman of Pittsburg, PA; five step sons, R.H., Bob and Kelly Hurst, all of Flippin, Sherman Hurst of Mableton, WA and Leo Hurst of Sunnyside, WA; three step daughters, Wanda Lang of Grandview, WA, Jean Parnell of Flippin, and Lola Jefferson of West Virginia; one sister, Coy Chapman of Newport; 25 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and four borthers, Shade, Roscoe, Arvin and Clyde Chapman.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Roller Funeral Chapel in Mt. Home, officiated by Rev. Troy Melton.
Pallbearers were Don Wynn, Lee Humporey, Don Treat, Harvey Parnell, Roger Trimble and Walton Cox.
Honorary pallbearers were Burl Cox, David Hurst, Bob Hurst, R.H. Hurst and Kelly Hurst.
Interment took place at Brunt School house Cemetery, under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
