Died Salesville, Baxter County, Arkansas.

Obituary
Cecil C. Farmer,72, of Salesville, died Sunday (April 2, 1989) at his home. He was an area native.
Mr. Farmer was born Dec 14, 1916, at Pomona, MO, and retired from a career as a boiler maker. He belonged to Boliermakers Union Local #83, which is headquartered in Kansas City, MO.
He is survived by his wife, Fern Woods Farmer, of the home. Mr. and Mrs. Farmer were married at Hernando, MS, May 15, 1955.
Additional survivors include one brother, Henry Farmer of Kansas City, MO; five sisters, Beth Goyer of West Plains, MO, Lula Montgomery of Willow Springs, MO, Ethel Bilyeu of Eldon, MO, Betty Seabolt of Welsh, OK and Faye Walker of Veneta, OK. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, including Morrell Woods of Norfork, Pam Harris of Chillicothe, MO and Iva Girdley of Springfield, MO.
Other than his parents, Mr. Farmer was preceded in death by three brothers.
He was a member of the Church of Christ and a US Marine Corps veteran of World War II.
Visitation will be today at Roller Funeral Home from 9AM until 7PM. Family hours will be from 6PM to 7PM.
Services for Mr. Farmer will be Tuesday at 2PM at the Roller Chapel with Bro. Donald Pfalser officiating.
Pallberarers will be Bobby Simpson. O.C. Simpson, Edward 'Red' Simpson, Dean Harris, Bill Hines and Alvie Boyd.
Honorary pallbearers included Howard Wood, Guy King, F.L. 'Lefty' Harvey, Gene Alexander and James Baker.
Burial will be at Burnt Schoolhouse Cemetery.
